I’ve travelled all over the planet and witnessed some amazing events and met an untold amount of inspiring individuals all as a result of my Mum giving me my first instamatic camera at the age of 9 in my homeland of Scotland.

Since that time I have come to understand that the image is everything, or rather the capturing of a moment in space and time is everything.

I entered the professional world of television broadcast, dramatic film and documentaries at the early age of 19. The journey has been, and continues to be both deeply fulfilling and magical.

To bare witness to some of humanities greatest follies and achievements is indeed a real and rare privilege.

I care deeply about the welfare of our planet and her peoples.
I am here to serve the telling of this beautiful tale of life if only for a relatively short time.

I am here to serve those with great stories to tell.

Filmmaking and storytelling is a collaborative and creative art in all it’s many forms where the good always find the good and the great recognize and embrace it with no ego attached.

I am not your typical Cinematographer.
I am an artist , a cultural creative, a Hollywood Veteran , a traveler,
a storyteller, charming, punctual, dedicated, passionate, committed & collaborative.

I am a writer, a director & a maker of films.

There’s no life like it and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
