Director of Cinematography, Film Maker, and Story Teller.  It is my great privilege to work in the field of film and television as a Director of Photography.

Mrs Meldrum, my primary 3 school teacher in my hometown of Peterculter, Scotland praised me for my writing and illustration storytelling abilities.

I watched an extraordinary amount of movies during my pre-teen years as a result of my Dad’s job. He was the Operations Manager for an exploratory offshore drilling rig that circulated a new crew and over 200 new movies every 28 days.

Before we sent the tapes (yes...VHS) back to the head office in Texas my family and I would devour the selection that ranged from Hollywood Blockbuster Dramas to B-grade horror and action flicks and avante garde Foreign Films .

I gained an appreciation of the world by nature of the fact that we would sometimes move every three months. I come honestly to the nomadic working lifestyle of being a cinematographer and filmmaker.

I am equally passionate about the welfare of our planet , making documentaries and inspiring people through the mediums of television and the cinema replete with a mandatory sense of humour.
